Guatemalan Genocide Survivor Wins Roger Baldwin Award

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share the news of Jesús Tecú Osorio, a Guatemalan indigenous rights activist, who recently won the Roger Baldwin Medal of Liberty from Human Rights First. Tecú has established three human rights organizations that promote the rights and advancement of indigenous Guatemalans; he has accomplished this at considerable personal risk, including death threats against himself and his family.
